The heart of the Inverell community continues to show during these tough times, with the Inverell Birdkeepers Group donating $500 to the BEST Community Shed.

“We try to donate each year back into the community and this year we thought the farmers were struggling, so why not help the locals through the BEST Community Shed.” said Trevor Woodham, secretary of the Inverell Birdkeepers Group.

This cheque is one of two going back into the Inverell, and represents resilience and support from all corners of our community.

“The Inverell Birdkeepers Group has been going since 2006. We started off with 9 members and we now have 120 from all over Australia, not just in this area.”
