Christmas has come early for those doing it tough in Inverell, thanks for BIG W’s generous donation.

Big W, through their partnership with Good360, have donated thousands of excess-stock items to BEST Community Shed to distribute to Inverell and its surrounding communities.

“These are our clearance items we have chosen to donate to charity- men, women, boys, girls and baby clothing items. We want this clothing to go to the people in need in our community.” Sarah King, Soft Goods Leader Inverell Big W.

This is the second year Inverell BIG W has made the donation as part of their commitment to making a real difference to families in need.

All the items are not for sale but will be handed out through the BEST Community Shed.

“We are extremely thankful for this unique opportunity to help those on in need.” Said Brett Hawkins from BEST Community Shed

“Every day we see people struggling come through our doors and unless you work directly with these people you don’t know how bad it really is. It would surprise you the amount of hardship there is in Inverell and our smaller towns and its only getting worse with the drought.”
